2010-11 Preview

Coach Bob Ronai returns for the 2010-11 season with high expectations.  He returns four starters from the Middies 13-8 (10-4 GMC) squad from last year.  Those include seniors Mikey Brown, Josh Johnson, and Kirby Wright and junior Geovonie McKnight.  The Middies also return Jalin Marshall, Chris Edwards, Zach Edwards, and Ahzariah Cummings.  Freshman Vincent Edwards and Chance Sorrell have joined the Middies Varsity squad.  Rounding out the team are De’Vonte Glenn, Donte Holbrook, Ryan Smith, and Isaiah Willis.  The Middies should be in the running for the league championship with Princeton and Lakota East.  Their season opens at Beavercreek on Friday, December 3.  The Middie home opener will be played Tuesday, December 7 against Walnut Hills.  They will travel to Jeffersontown, Kentucky over Christmas to play in the Gaslight Holiday Classic.
